What this site collects, why, and who else sees it.
Chief Perspective LLC (“we”) operates chiefperspective.com. This page explains what the site collects, why we collect it, who else it reaches, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only. It does not cover information you give us during an engagement, which is governed by your engagement letter and the confidentiality terms in it.
What you give us
Several places on this site invite you to type something: the contact form that appears on every page, the short form that sends you a guide or a sample deliverable, and the interactive tools. All of them ask for the same core details — your name and email address, which are required so that we can reply, and optionally your phone number, company, and a message describing what you need.
Where a page offers an interactive tool, the figures you enter and the result it works out are submitted as well — but only if you go on to send us that result using the form beneath it. Some of those figures describe your business rather than you: its earnings, for instance. We would rather state plainly that they reach us than leave you to infer it. The same applies to which guide or sample deliverable you asked for; we record that alongside your details.
Until you submit that form, a tool’s working stays in your browser. Work out a score or a range, close the tab, and it is not sent to us.
We use all of this for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if it goes further, to scope an engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
What we record without asking
Alongside anything you type, each submission is stored with your IP address, the country our network provider infers from it, your browser’s user-agent string, the page you submitted from, and the time. These are recorded to help us identify automated abuse of the form and to understand which parts of the site prompt people to get in touch. They are ordinary technical metadata rather than anything you have volunteered, and we mention them because most privacy policies quietly do not.
Where it goes
Submissions are stored in a database operated by Cloudflare, which also hosts and serves this website. A copy of each submission is sent by email to us through Resend, an email delivery provider. Where we route a copy into a workflow or notification tool we use internally, that tool receives it on the same footing. All of them act on our instructions and none uses your information for its own purposes.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not otherwise share what you send us.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions indefinitely. If you would like your submission deleted, ask us and we will do it.
Third-party services on this site
Some parts of this site load from other companies, and those companies can see that your browser requested something from them:
- Google Tag Manager loads on every page. It is the mechanism through which the two Google services below run, and sets no cookies of its own.
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used — which pages are read, how people arrive, and whether a form was completed. It sets cookies in your browser.
- Google Ads conversion tracking runs on the page you land on after submitting a form, so that when we are advertising we can tell which campaign produced an inquiry. A companion tag sets a cookie on every page so that attribution is possible at all. We do not currently run remarketing: we are not using this to show you our advertising elsewhere on the web. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
- Calendly loads only on the page shown after you submit the form, so that you can book a call without waiting for a reply. It is subject to Calendly’s own privacy terms.
- Cloudflare serves every page and processes all traffic to the site. Where an anti-spam check is switched on for a form, Cloudflare’s Turnstile service runs that check on the page carrying it and sets a cookie in order to work.
The typefaces this site is set in are served from this site itself rather than from Google Fonts or a similar service, so loading a page does not tell a font provider that you were here.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse them altogether. Doing so will not stop you using this site; the contact form works without them.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to submissions is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will deal with it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under applicable privacy law; tell us what you are asking for and we will treat the request on its merits rather than on its label.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we will change this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
